LEGAL AID TO WOMEN REFUGEES BY DIOTIMA

The Centre for Women Studies and Research, DIOTIMA, informs that it has expanded the provision of legal aid services to survivors (or suspected survivors) of Gender-Based Violence in the refugees communities through the deployment of 3 lawyers with expertise both on asylum and on gender-based violence.

“Legal aid services, which are funded by UNHCR and implemented with International Medical Corps, cover both sites of Attica and sites of Epirus and Northern Greece as well as other accommodation settings and/or urban areas. Our services cover the support during asylum procedures (drafting of memo, escorting, attending the interview, appeal), as well as the application of judicial [penal and civil] remedies (incl. representation at the court). We also provide individual legal counseling regarding the above areas.

In case your organisation or your field staff is aware of any case, you can refer it to CRWI Diotima’s legal team by sending an email at diotima@otenet.gr or by calling directly to +30 210 3244380.
We remain at your disposal for any clarification”.
